thx so much daniel!
awesome song!! hope 2 c u in germany in 2011!
have a great week!!

@Bitter just repeat “you’re pretty” about 1000 times and you got your lyrics boy.

I’m not trying to hate Danny boy I liked your first three releases but it’s time for some new beats or somethin. I’m just sayin.

“I’m ready”, “you’re pretty”, whatever! It actually sounded better when I thought you were sayin I’m pretty. It doesn’t really matter in the scheme of things anyway your lyrics never make any god damn sense. I’m not even going to try to figure out what your talking about in “The Ones”

I thought the song was incredibly catchy the 2nd time I listened to it and got into the swing of the beat. I especially liked the vocals. Magenta, you should find something significantly more constructive then to post multiple times about how you’re dissapointed, not that I’m shocked, you saying you’ve not understood any song he’s written speaks volumes of your lack of a brain,so Daniel,I’d take constructive crits from this little rocket scientist with a grain of salt. Those of us who complete primary school enjoyed it.

@magenta If you want simple lyrics, listen to rap. I loved ‘The Ones’ because while the meaning wasn’t entirely clear, it was left up to the listener to examine and decide what it the song meant to them personally. I understood the song to be about nightmares, but each of us would ‘sew up your mouth’ in a different way to try to prevent the attack which can’t be avoided. Every person who listened to the song surely had a different image of ‘the ones’ attacking, and related to it in a different way.

With a painting, everyone looks at the same lines and strokes, but different conclusions or feelings are evoked and formed based on the individual. Personally, because of events in my life, I have found that I can relate to ‘The Siren’, and often listen to it when I am feeling a little down, but it probably means something completely different to me than to someone else. This music is art, and therefore a simple meaning can’t be given. Experience it, think about it, soak it in. If you can’t, I’m sure @50cent needs some huggles.

I kind of figured, when I heard you had hooked up with Marko(Marco?) your music would change drastically… good or bad is for the rest to decide, but as a fan of all of your stuff prior, this doesn’t reach out and grab me, or excite me at all. In and of itself, it’s not bad, but I just don’t see AP in this… you know me though man, I have a hard time seeing the genius in such things…. Multiple listens brings enjoyment to my ears, yet it still doesn’t sound like the AP sound I “fell in love with” back in 2005 and again in 2008.

Very-Very nice set you guys did at the Masquerade in Atlanta, looking forward to buying the new album………………….

Here are the lyrics to “The Devil’s in the Details”.

Bye bye cutie pie,
You’re just a piece of meat,
Details deplorable,
What would your mother think?
No disguise can hide the truth,
Hide what’s begun,
Just hope you’re ready cuz the devil thinks that you’re the one.

I’m ready

Down low,
In a hole,
The fear won’t stop the sound,
No need for misery,
You’re halfway in the ground,
It moves slow,
Crawl down the road,
Crawl down the line,
You’ll wind up withering with no one standing on your side.

I’m ready

Devil be my way,
Devil be my heart,
Devil eat me just say you’ll be the one.

Boom crash,
Down the hatch,
Just swallow what you’re told,
Life’s not worth living if,
You’re destined to grow old,
We can’t start to heal the wounds,
To heal the scars,
As we disintegrate and scrutinize the heart.

Does your site have a contact page? I’m having problems locating it but, I’d like to shoot you an e-mail. I’ve got some creative ideas for your blog you might be interested in hearing. Either way, great blog and I look forward to seeing it grow over time.

I’ve read some of the comments saying that this new song isn’t like the “old” Aesthetic Perfection they used to love, or what have you. I just wanted to add my two cents.
Music is art, and art is always evolving. It changes as time goes by, and usually for the better, rarely for the worse.
AP’s new song is, in my opinion, just another evolution. And I honestly think it’s gotten even better than before. :] Good job, Mr. Daniel Graves. Keep it up.
